I don’t enjoy online trends at all. A lot of them are silly and some are even dangerous. I’ve never seen anything interesting or smart — mostly just stupid pranks which require you to ruin things! My friends became victims of an online prank like that — some kids threw paint at their clothes, filmed it and laughed at them. It is awful, and I don’t understand why children and teens repeat stupid things that their peers do online. Don’t they ever think that somebody else can prank them? How about choosing some nice, kind and helpful action for a challenge? This could inspire people to do better.

I guess I don’t have an opinion on online trends — I’m just not online that much! I’m not a big fan of social media, and I don’t experience a lot of problems with that. Well, there is one small problem, actually — often my friends would mention a trend or a person popular online, or reference a joke which they saw on the Internet, and I would have no clue what they are talking about! It’s not very pleasant to be out of the loop, but this issue alone is not enough to make me go on social media.

Personally, I agree that it’s very hard to choose your profession while still at school. I know a lot of high school students who still have no clue what to do after they finish their studies, and I don’t think it’s a great idea to choose just because you have to and not because you have a strong interest in some field. I think there shouldn’t be so much pressure for teens to decide their whole future – sometimes it’s hard for us to decide what to wear to school!

I really don’t see a problem with deciding what to do after school. Maybe it’s because my whole life I knew exactly who I wanted to be – a doctor, like my parents. I’ve never really thought about any other options, which probably helped me save a lot of time and energy. At school, I can focus on the subjects that will be necessary to enter the medical university – biology, chemistry, things like that. The only thing that I’m not sure about yet is what kind of doctor I’m going to be — but there will be time to figure it out.

Surfing and water sports are necessary for me. Why not do what you enjoy while on holidays? It’s OK, surfing is OK for me. So, I’d like to go somewhere where there are some waves and maybe not hotter necessarily, but just more reliable climate, I just don't really like the rain.

Personally, I’m really unhappy with the way the new technologies are developing. More and more people are glued to their phones. Knowledge is devalued — why study if you can find any information online? Literacy is at an all-time low — just look at some comments on the Internet and try to find at least one without spelling mistakes. What concerns me the most, though, is how mean people are to each other on social media. No one knows how to maintain a healthy discussion anymore. I’m afraid that the more advanced our gadgets become, the worse the situation gets.

In my opinion, it’s completely normal to be both excited and worried about technological progress. For instance, one could be rightfully concerned about whether one day AI outsmarts us and conquers the world. Jokes aside — I don’t think that could actually happen, but I agree that powerful technologies can be very dangerous in the wrong hands. On the other hand, isn’t that amazing how many things we can do now that were impossible before? Personally, I’d rather focus on the positive.

I myself have problems with my blood pressure, but I absolutely don’t want to sit around and do nothing. I do morning exercises every day, I jog two or three times a week, and my diet doesn’t include any junk food or sweet drinks. Some people believe that it’s boring to live like that, but I don’t agree — and frankly, don’t care.

I’m strongly convinced that every day lived is another piece of my education. What am I doing with the knowledge I have absorbed? I know that 10 years from now I will not be the same man and have the same thoughts. I believe that this process needs to be focused and nurtured. I do not fear change, because it’s going to come anyway. I am trying to embrace it and shape it instead. I set my goals so that 10 years from now I am wiser, more adaptable and more complete.
