Well, I like, I’ve always liked living near the sea, I like having the beach there, although it’s a bit disappointing in Portsmouth because there’s no surf. Surfing and water sports are necessary for me. Why not do what you enjoy while on holidays? It’s OK, surfing is OK for me. So, I’d like to go somewhere where there are some waves and maybe not hotter necessarily, but just more reliable climate, I just don't really like the rain.

It definitely should be a warm place with a warm climate, and with the sea. For example, I like Portsmouth, really, because I live not far from sea. It’s so great, as you are always at the seaside. I do not need long flying and driving to get to the place, the destination. And I have an opportunity to go to the beach every day after classes, or go jogging, which is also very lovely, so I think that an ideal place for me would be a place with a warm climate and the sea.

I think, about a year ago, there’s a couple of places I’ve been recently to, actually, I went to Cambodia with a friend of mine, which was really interesting just cause it is so different to England, you know, the food and culture, and there’s also, I mean, we went to several sort of places of historical interest, obviously there was the sort of Communist uprising, and we went to some places, really, sort of interesting and eye-opening in a sort of a historical way and there was also some, you know, some beautiful temples and stuff as well.

I think that it is Mexico. I visited it this April. I was really impressed by the Caribbean Sea, by the sun and beautiful beaches, sandy beaches with white sand, and of course, people. People impressed me very much, they were very open-minded and their level of English also was very good, so I had an opportunity to talk to people, to natives. I just went on holiday on my own, but, that way you’re kind of forced to interact with people there, and you, I sort of met a lot of interesting people through doing that. That was great!

You most of the time should visit the capital of a country, but bear in mind that London is not everything, you know, and there are lots of nice sort of pockets of rural land, and I mean, I really like Cornwall as a place to go to and spend some time, you’ve got some lovely sort of beach front there and if you like surfing and stuff like that, there’s sort of lots of outdoor activities you could do. Popular destinations are great but be an explorer and choose the places which are not in travel brochures.

If you are going to go to Russia in winter, I would like to advise you to take more warm clothes because in winter it can be really cold. For example, in area where I live, it’s not far from Moscow, it can be 20° below zero, but there is a lot of snow and you can enjoy playing snowballs and skiing, skating, and all kinds of these activities, and if you go in summer or autumn, I’d like to advise you to go to St Petersburg because it's one of my favourite cities, and it is very beautiful, has a lot of beautiful palaces, magnificent temples and churches, the Neva River and embankment will also impress you much.

Oh, I’ve always been very attentive to my health. I believe it’s very important to stay healthy and energetic regardless of your age. Sadly, a lot of my classmates already have some chronic health issues — poor eyesight, bad posture, gastritis and many, many more. It’s awful! I myself have problems with my blood pressure, but I absolutely don’t want to sit around and do nothing. I do morning exercises every day, I jog two or three times a week, and my diet doesn’t include any junk food or sweet drinks. Some people believe that it’s boring to live like that, but I don’t agree — and frankly, don’t care.

I guess my lifestyle is alright, but there is always room for improvement. For example, I don’t have a very comfortable chair at home, and I need to sit in front of my computer a lot. Also, just like all of us, I’m looking at my phone pretty much all the time... I really wouldn’t want to wear anything like that, so I’d rather start exercising...

Unfortunately, I can’t stay as active as I would like to. Last year, I fell off my bike and seriously injured my knee. I am only allowed to do physical therapy now, and I know that it’s very helpful, but these exercises are just so boring!

And don’t even get me started on diets and exercise styles — they go in and out of fashion every week. In my opinion, it’s really easy to stay healthy in our day and age, and I’m really curious as to why so many people still don’t want to improve their lifestyles. You can even exercise at home — you just need to go on the Internet! Are we really that lazy?

My best way is to have a party, especially a family party. I don’t like a teenager party because it’s too messy, I like to take part in the family parties, especially when there’s a lot of peers, people of my age, but I prefer to go with my family, not just me alone, because, you know, I don’t know how to prepare my gifts, so they can give me some advice, and during the family party I prefer the dessert, and the food, I like to taste all kinds of food of different countries.

The best thing I want to talk about is last Sunday. I went to a family party. I love family parties — and, because the day before the party, I just finished my English exam, so I needed to relax, so I was really happy to enjoy and I’ve never been to the UK, so I went to the British people’s house and met them and brought them gifts from me and they were really happy, and we talked a lot about our different cultures and the customs like the weddings or something.

Definitely, I got very excited on Tuesday, when I opened my email account and I had won the lottery. On the Isle of Wight, well, the thing is we have lots of festivals every year, it seems that every weekend there’s another festival going on, so we’ve got lots of chances to go to music festivals, classic-car festivals or whatever, and there’s a lot of, there’s a big arts scene on the Isle of Wight, so if you’re into, I don’t know, anything where you can take a picnic out and listen to some music, you’ve got a lot of chances for this, and the island is also brilliant for its scenery, just walking around with lots of cycle tracks and footpaths.

Well, there’s a lot of activities, but in my family and in my city, because Shanghai is a crowded city, we usually go to a park, because there is no place for us to camp. But I think it depends on the kind of email, so some emails are good, for example, I want to apply to universities, and many universities send me an email to explain about their policy, their systems or something like that, and I think it's useful. Sometimes it’s useful.

I think this depends on the number or the way they approach you, it makes you comfortable or not, and for example, I have an example, that, sometimes I watch a very favourite movies on TVs, that’s a film on TV or maybe a football match, where I, we say, that’s a very wonderful football match on the TV, so, sometimes advertisements break the match or break the news, the film as well, so I have to pause, to wait, and I feel very tired in that way, so I don’t like it. So you just want to focus on your programme, you don’t want to be interrupted by the ads.

I grew up in a small town and then moved to a big city, so I have experienced the good and bad sides of both. I never thought that I would like living in a big city, but I was wrong. After ten years of living in one, I can’t imagine ever living in a small town again. I love the excitement of big cities. Small towns have a small pace. Large cities mean you have to adapt to a variety of situations, like finding a new route to work or trying a new restaurant. I enjoy that challenge very much.
